Spring is here!

Started with the school Easter celebrations. Remember Finn's heart? Well, he came home last week with this:

Then we had egg hunts in the neighborhood. Here are the boys. Don't you think you can imagine them a bit older? Even though it doesn't show off any photography skills, but this picture cracks me up!

We celebrated Easter at church on Sunday and with the Davies' at Jenni and Andrew's. Thank you for hosting us! It was a very nice way to celebate our Savior!

Margot Update

Margot has a house for her cars!!!! Here's the progress:

For Kat and any others who care to know how to ensure your kids get their full serving of sugar in one fun snack :) Ha ha! I have to give credit to my Mom. She's a teacher and she did this with her 2nd grade class. As an aside, Carter and Finn truly do love sushi--especially tuna and seaweed salad. Now if all vegetables were only as easyto eat as seaweed? Anyways, here is a photographic journey of the recipe:

1. Start with a Fruit Roll Up and Unroll

2. Make Rice Krispie Treats as you normally would. We of course use lots of butter, might be necessary to easily spread to make the sushi. Spread a generous amount of Rice Krispie Treat mixture on top of Fruit Roll Up. 3. Add in some Gummi Worms.

4. Roll up and cut like a sushi roll.

5. Of course eat an entire roll and then run around the house screaming and laughing and then perhaps start to cry at the drop of a hat as you come off your sugar high. Well, that is what Finn did that day :)
