To Our Sweet Second Son, Finn;
Two years ago today you were born. My entire pregnancy there were lots of comments (from strangers of course) of oh well, maybe a girl next time. Strangers have NO idea how long these comments can stay with you.....
I had a fabulous labor experience, well, about as fabulous a time as you can have when in labor :) The doula that helped us noticed how excited you got when the contractions came. She said is was unusual and meant that you would be a very adventurous boy. She even suggested you might like skydiving one day--kind of scary for this mom to consider. Lucky for us you are a man of risk--you add so much spirit to our lives. You have a very noisy side, that coexists with your sweet, cuddly, sensitive side. We couldn't have imagined how much love you would bring into our lives in two short years. I love you so much Griffin Luke-Happy Birthday!
